7A Antibacterial & Anti-Mould Fabric: Standards and Results

7A is our functional fabric line for seating and home textiles that need hygienic performance. Below are the standards applied and the results we can publish.

Antibacterial mechanism

The fabric uses photonic physical antibacterial (zero release): the antibacterial action does not rely on releasing substances into the environment. Mechanism and test result are separate things — the first describes how it works, the second what was measured under a specified standard and method.

Third-party SGS results for abrasion, pilling, colour fastness and seam slippage are published on our test reports page. Every article in the range can be supplied with 7A antibacterial and anti-mould finishing.

Note: results refer only to the samples tested. Anti-mould performance depends on the finishing process; the confirmed order specification prevails. Full reports are available on request.
